I am in the same boat. I am 39.2 weeks, 80% effaced and 2cm. I was so against having my membranes swept because I had a horrible experience with my first baby but I am trusting my midwife. I am only doing one though so if this doesn't work I am not doing another one.At 36 weeks and 5 days, I was 100% effaced and not dilated. Baby was fully engaged and ready to go.
