If you look closer at the KSG and KS7 the receiver and internals are pretty heavy duty parts. The receiver is a formed hardened steel that's very strong. They kept falling out on the KSG but stayed put on the KS7. Note the differences in the front section of the stock assemblies. Everything in the rear is essentially the same.
