Skar amp protect mode
I installed it on 14 Ultra Limited. The amp is 4 channel that bridged to push 2 6.5 DS18 Pro. I have the gains set at 1/4 and Holy cow. This thing is loud. But, I have noticed a bit of a motor noise coming through the speakers when there is no music playing. The amp is worth the money but Skar needs to figure out the background noise.I have a CT sounds amp and it's basically the same thing as a skar. It was going into protect mode on hot days until I got a stinger fan. ... Yeah the amp I'm using is the skar 800 watt amp and it's rested for 1 ohm stable and my sub is a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub wired to 1 ohm. I'm gonna check my connections and see if that's the issue

I have it run to 2 Skar Audio EVL-15 D2 15-inch dual 2-ohm 1250 watt subwoofers. The only way to wire them to this amp is at 2 ohm or 0.5 ohm and the amp it rated at 2000 watts at 1 ohm. At 2 ohm im only getting about 1400 watts so about 700 watts each.

I have a Skar Audio RP.3500 and I’ve been using it for about 2ish months now. About a week ago it went into protect mode when I was listening to music so I left my radio off until I got a chance to look at it. The ground is good, I’ve checked it with and without RCA cables and speaker wire, my remote wire is okay.I have infinity perfect fronts and alpines in rear. 4 ch rockford p450.4 65 rms 4 ch.... when I hook up 2 speakers it wont clip..when all 4 are hooked up it goes in.
